Deleted Pictures

We had deleted some pictures, then emptied the recycling bin. Thinking that
the pictures were completely gone from the computer, we were surprised when
hours later we opened another picture folder and the deleted pictures showed
up as another folder in that folder. As soon as we clicked on the folder to
view the pictures the folder disappeared completely and now those pictures
are nowhere to be found. Has anyone heard about this? Is there anyway to find
out if they are somewhere on the computer and we just can't find them. We
don't want our computer bogged down with useless pictures.

I have done a similar thing however I want the photo's which were deleted -
they are not in the recycle bin> Have you had any success retrieving your
photo's?

Try googleing for a free undelete or file retreval program. There is
alot of them out there and so long as your computer has not overwritten
the space the files took up it should be easy to retreave them.
