Media player problem - cannot play DVD

I have a DELL Latitude 630 notebook with MS Vista. My Media Player do not
play DVD movies any more "Windows Media Player cannot play DVD from disc.
Might be necessary to set up the Windows screen parameters. Open"Screen" and
decrease the screen resolution and colour quality parameters." I did that but
this did not help. All drivers are of the latest version. I also have McAffee
antivirus installed.
