Problem Playing A Burned DVD in DVD Player

I created a movie (pics, music, and audio voice over) in Windows Movier Maker
and have burned it to Memorex DVD-R disc. It will not play in my DVD player
that is attached to my TV. It says it supports CD-R/RW. The DVD tried to load
it, but eventually a message comes up which says, "this disc cannot be played
- check the disc".
Coincidentally, I created a second movie with pics and audio voice over, but
no music using the same Memorex type disc. It plays fine in the DVD player
attached to the TV.
Can anyone help me with this??? Thanks
