Driving Me Wild! Don't want TILE view. Want single pic view!

I used to be able to double-click a photo on my desktop and see it in
full-size pic view in Photo Gallery. Not gallery/thumbnail view, but single
pic view.

I don't remember changing any settings, but NOW when I click on a pic, Photo
Gallery opens up with a TILED VIEW of ALL of my photos on my dang computer,
dating back for YEARS.

How in the HECK do I reset the Photo Gallery default so it just shows the
full-size pic I just clicked on, and NOTHING else?

I need to take a sedative.
