Transfering media files to another partition
Hiya guys and gals.
Can I transfer my music library to another partition on my HDD?
My vista partition I seem to have made way to small.I did this with the
intention of haveing only my Vista O/S on 1 partition and hopeing to put all
other programs and files on another partition.
The logic of this madness to me was that Vista would run faster ,better
,smoother and less chance of corruption ,bugs and other unseeable problems
that may occure.I put Vista onto a 100Gig partition and left my XP on another
100Gig and left 300Gig for evrything else.
After ripping half of my CD collection, loading a couple of hundred photos
and a few DVD's I had filled my disc space and couldn't do squat until I
deleted all my DVD's and a few albums.
Hence my dilema,so can I transfer my whole library or is there a program I
can put on the other partition and re-rip my music to it and delete my music
collection/library from Vista?
I don't want to have to format my vista partition and load Vista onto the
larger partition but so far this is the only answer I can find to my problem.
I thank you and appreciate all help and advice from you all in advance.
Ciao Graeme.
