Try this...
Connect your camera to your PC with a USB cable...you are already doing
this.
instead of opening photo gallery go to computer.
You should be able to see all your hard drives and dvd players...you
should also be able to see your digital camera. Click it open and you
should be able to see all your jpeg pictures.
Copy or move them all to a folder on your desktop. Don't delete the
files in your camera just yet. We want to test if this works.
You should be able to open your desktop folder and vire all the pics.
You can now try opening MS Photo Gallery, navigate to the folder and
view pictures.
If you can only see file names anddetails...click view and select
medium thumbnails.
