No Streaming on Windows Media

All streams from radio stations using Windows Media have stopped. The player
shows "ready" meaning that the stream will not start. I contacted a tech from
DellConnect who spent nearly an hour trying to fix the problem but could
not. He tried adding new plugins, uninstalling and reinstalling the latest
player, restoring Firefox and trying other things as well. Nothing worked.
Stations that stream using MP3, Real and Winamp are fine. Has anyone had
this problem? Does anyone know the solution? Thanks.
