can't see pic in thumbnail view

Howdy - had to do a restore and now cannot see pic in thumbnail view...you
know if you're in file manager and you select View, Medium or Large Icons,
you can see the pic in thumbnail view; or from
Desktop, Personalize, Backgroun -- you can see the wallpapers in the
thumbnail view...will I can't anymore...Live Techs all weekend giving me so
many different things to do and nothing is working...help and many thanks

And you expect everyone to guess what you already tried?
Or...should they offer suggestions so you can say...Nope...
already did that and it didn't work.

And just wondering...did you try deleting or renaming
the Windows Photo Gallery database....Pictures.pd4?

As John says we don't have any idea what you have tried so far. Plus we
don't know how knowlegable you are so forgive me here if you tried this,
Open "tools", "folder optiions" and then click on the "view" tab. Play
with the settings there, such as "always show icons, never thumbnails"
or "Display icons as thumnails". Hope you find it and good luck to you.
