ERROR MESSAGE with Vista Home Premium Media Center Edtiion!
Hello, recently I have been receiving an error message related to Media
Center in Vista. The message heading is as follows: "Windows Media Center
Store Update Manager has stopped working and was closed." I have attempted
sfc scannow in the command line in hopes of repairing or replacing any
corrupted files related to this error message with no success? The message
prompts randomly about 2 to 3 times in a day. If anyone has experienced this
problem and is aware of a fix, your response would be greatly appreciated!
Please note, that when launching Media Center there does not appear to be any
apparent issues, but obviously there is an issue somewhere! Thanks in
advance for any help.

Re: ERROR MESSAGE with Vista Home Premium Media Center Edtiion!

Do you get the chance to send an error report to Microsoft? If so, what are
the crash details in the system Event Viewer?

Thanks zachd. No I have not sent an error report, but the next time the
error occurs I will send the report and review the system event viewer
details. Should I post this information within the forum? Thank you for
your response, I look forward to any help!

Yeah, if you could do that that would be great. I'd really appreciate it.
