Re: Roxio or Nero
Imoore ... there is a lot that comes with Vista ... I have used MovieMaker
in the past and it is worth checking out, but I just do home movie stuff ...
nothing professional.
I have used Roxio Easy Media Creator since version 6. Just bought and loaded
version 9 a few days ago. One of the reasons I bought the Vista-compatible
version was so I could import .mov files from one of my digital video
cameras and convert them to a different format. (Unfortunately, MovieMaker
does not have the .mov file format listed as one of the file types it can
import. Also, Roxio EMC9 requires that QuickTime be installed but at least I
won't have to buy QT Pro again.)
I also bought the Nero Suite one time back when I was running XP. It was OK
.... but, for me, it just didn't fit.
I vote for trying the Roxio you already have installed ... and try out the
Vista stuff ... but good luck with whatever you decide to do ... vanilla

Use to run Nero on XP, new computer with Vista and Roxio preloaded. I know
this is going to start a war, but which one is better? Do I stay with Roxio
or downloaded the lastest version of Nero?
