Windows Photo Gallery only imports video files

When I import from my SD card using Windows Photo Gallery, it imports all
contents of the SD card the first time. After the first time, if I try to
import again, it is only importing the video files from the SD card. Is this
a bug? Is there some kind of setting for this?

WPG will only import those files that haven't been imported before. If you
add more files, then it should import them.

If you want more control over importing, try the newer Windows Live Photo
Gallery. It has more features.
