DRM Problem/Reinstall wmp 11??

Hello, i have trouble downloading my license on a streaming website.
This is because the test video could not be played due to corrupted DRM
files. The streaming website tech support advised me to reinstall
windows media player, that is either wmp 9/10/11. However, reinstalling
wmp was not successful since the wmp installed in my laptop is a higher
version (11.0.6000.6336). I tried to uninstall first the wmp i have but
i could not see it on my control panel>programs and features.
Can anyone help me how to reinstall my wmp or uninstall my wmp so i can
download the right wmp version to run streaming. Thanks in advance.

You cannot reinstall Windows Media Player on Windows Vista as there is no
standalone installer for it. It's simply installed with Windows Vista.

You can certainly reset your DRM store without needing to reinstall Windows
Media Player. Reinstalling Windows Media Player would not actually reset
your DRM store, so the tech support is likely minorly confused here.
