tuner not installed message

My TV tuner suddenly disappeared after the last update. Device Manager shows
it is installed and working, but Media Center (Vista Ultimate) doesn't detect
it. Tryed uninstalling and reinstalling driver to no avail. See lots of old
posts on this issue, but why is this a problem in new version. Will SP1 fix
this issue?

Thanks for response. Didn't help me here though. I did find a Dell article
that helped. Required me to go into Windows Media Services and set "log on"
to a Local account and auto. Now I'm at least finding the tuner. Still
locks up on a random basis and gives me a "tuner busy" error and asks me to
"stop" a tuner. Only one show on list of course and I can't stop it when I
click the button provided for it. Progress, but not out of the woods yet.
