Muting video in movie maker

I just wondered if it was possible to mute the video in movie maker and
simply let the audio soundtrack play?

In timeline view...right click the Audio track /
choose Mute.

If you cannot see the Audio track...click +
just to the right of Video...to expand the
tracks.

He means switch off the video and only play the sound. I think this is so
unusual that Windows hasn't taken this into account at all.

Hmmmm, looks like you are correct.

Try dragging the video clip to the Audio/Music
track and try publishing it. The result should be
a .wma sound file.

Also the following free software can convert
the video clip to an audio file.
