windows media player 11 dont open video and music streams

Since i have a 2wire 2700HGV routter my wmp11, on Vista, dont open video and
music URLs. When I try to open a URL the wmplayer.exe process starts to use a
lot of my cpu and the aplication stops responding. I also notice that on the
TaskManager 1 of 4 rundll32.exe are always apearing and desapearing. The
only bizzare why i can stream a music on wmp11 is streaming that music first
in the browser with flash player. I sent a message to 2wire(routter
manufacturer) and they told me it would be probably a wmplayer add-on, but i
dont have add-ons installed on it and i never did any update on the player. I
have also traied to desable udp streaming (there are some conflicts between
certain routter and this protocol), and i was thinking uninstallin wmp11 and
install it again BUT IS JUST IMPOSSIBLE!!! Its because of some ports
forwarding? If so what are the ports i have to open in the routter?
