pictures folder

the slideshow setting in pictures folder does not work, however the
slideshow in photo gallery does work, any suggestions on how to get it
working in pictures folder as i prefer to use this.

vista home premium.

containing the pictures?
If not what extensions are the pictures?

yes i get the slideshow selection, but when i click on slideshow nothing
happens, the pictures are all jpeg.

I'm having this exact problem.

I open the pictures folder and am presented with all the usual toolbar
options but clicking on the slideshow achieves nothing.

I too get it to work from the photo gallery but I prefer to run it from the
pictures folder.

It used to work then it stopped.

I'm also having the same issue accessing the device manager from the welcome
centre link.
