Mini Player?

When I got my computer, first thing I did was add some music onto it. I would
play it and then minimize it. It would have this mini player. I could pause
music, rewind or fast foreward, but recently I had to reset my computer to
factory settings. Now, when I minimize the media player, there is no mini
player. If it will help, I'm on Vista Home Premium

If you mean on the task bar, right click on the Taskbar > Toolbars > Windows

hi im having the same problem the mini player mode did work now it dosnt, i
have it set on my toolbar but it still wont go in mini player mode i really
love it as it was handy some1 pls help me
