dvd compilation won't play on vista's MCE
I have compiled my DVD's to a hard drive and it works fine on my XP mce I can
play them I tried playing them on my laptop with Vista MCE and it doesn't
work. What seems to be the problem here? Is there a way to fix this?

I have this problem too - old MCE and current PowerDVD etc recognise these
DVD-format files and folders but Vista MCE does not - unless you convert them
to avi,wmv with all the usual degradation problems. Microsoft must have
deliberately designed it this way so I am going back to MediaPortal and
hoping they have not done the same.

I actually have solved the problem by downloading "My Movies" plugin. now it
plays plus it also has the art cover. My Movies is free just google it
although they accept donations too if you want to donate.
