Hi Josh,
The "Slideshow" branch may not exist by default, and you need to create it. See also:

I am running vista 64bit Home Premium, and I am having an issue where I can't
access the themes for windows slideshow, even though my vista score is a 5. I
read online about a way to use regedit to repair the problem. The key I am
supposed to edit is: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Photo
Gallery\SlideShow
I can get as far as \Windows Photo Gallery\, but there is no \Slideshow
inside. Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks,
Josh
