Hi guys!
I found a workaround for this. At least its working for me. I'm
recording some tapes through line-in in Vista and find it annoying to
not be able to mute the line-in sound. But you can try to set the level
of line-in to 0 so you won’t hear it through the speakers.
This is how to do it:
- Go Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound
- in the Playback tab select Speakers and click Properties
- in the Levels tab drag the Line In lever to “0”
- then click OK and once again OK
It’s working for me.
