DVD Maker

I keep getting an error message "Data Execution Prevention (DEP)" error. I
can load the video file, but when I go to the next screen, I get the error.
This program worked a couple weeks ago. I loaded an AVS video converter
program from www.avs4you.com that I thought would work better, but it didn't
and uninstalled it. since then, the DVD maker program doesn't work (plus DVD
Shrink doesn't work either). How do I solve this problem?

What are the specifics of the DEP error according to the Event Viewer?
