Windows Photo Gallery/Email

I'm on Vista and I'm trying to send a photo via email from Windows Photo
Gallery. I highlight the photo, select "email" in the toolbar, change
resolution size to small , and select attach. I get a box pop up from
Microsoft Office Outlook that says a "dialog box is open. Close and retry".
At the same time as this box pops up, I get a license agreement from
Microsoft. I choose "accept" and try the whole process over just to get to
this spot again. What am I doing wrong?
