Re: Zoombrowser AVI
I tried this. The only AVI file I had was 144 MB, which is way to big to
e-mail. But I gave it a shot anyway just to see what would happen. It
crashed before it even got to the Outbox. Final error was a "Not enough
memory" thing I think.

Then I made a short movie from the AVI, save it as like a 10-second AVI,
which go it down to the more reasonable size of about 10 MB. That, I found,
I could e-mail. So that suggest that it's not the file type so much as it is
the size. (Of course, I don't know the size of your AVI file so this whole
little experiment might be moot too).

But the smart thing to do might be to convert the AVI to a WMV so the file
size is much smaller. Then you'll probably be able to e-mail the WMV file.
(You can import the AVI into Movie Maker and publish it to a WMV file). AVI
files tend to be huge anyway unless they're compressed with DivX or
something.

I can't send any movies from Zoombrowser that have an AVI ending. I can only
send jpegs. Canon says it is a Windows Mail problem. Using Vista as o/s. Any
ideas?
