Nero VCD Burning

Hi, I have created a movie using Windows Movie Maker. I am trying to burn
this movie using Nero 6, so I can play the movie on a DVD player. I have
tried various attempts and not getting anywhere. Can anyone please give me
quick steps what I need to do to get the file to play on a DVD disk? In
Nero, I am selecting Make Video CD option. I then Add the WMV File, which it
analyzes and I select the DVD/RW...option (not Image Recorder). It then
begins encoding but it then spits the DVD/RW disk out saying the compilation
cannot be written to this type of disk.

Did you know a VCD is created on a CD not a DVD?

It's not a hard and fast rule to use Nero. Why not use Windows DVD Maker?
BTW, a VCD (video CD) is different from a DVD....

No, I didn't - so thank you for educating me. I'll give it a go using a CD.

Use a DVD and choose option DVD video in Nero, maybe your movie is too big
for a VCD.
