Video on websites

I've bought a new laptop and once I contected to the internet it downloaded
new versions on quicktime and now I can't see any streaming video on sites eg
when I access yahoo movies the trailers remains blank. Also says the page was
loaded with an error

Does anyone know if my setting were some how changed when the up date occured.

Hi,
I had a similar sort of problem with IE7.
I found the following solution, after trying other suggestions with no
success.

1: Click on Vista Orb.
2: Click \"Default Programs\".
3: Click \"Set Program access and computer defaults\".
4: Double click on \"Custom\"
5: Under 'Choose default media player' click \"Windows Media Player\"
The click OK and exit.
