Can't copy pictures to my DVD player

I was downloading and saving/copying to a DVD some pictures that I had
received via email. I had done this many times before without a problem. Now
I can't. I get a message that says "Windows Photo Gallery" "Copy File -
cannot read from the source file or disk." I have Vista Home Premium. Is this
a copyright problem, a temporary problem with another computer, or a problem
with my computer? Any help would be appreciated.
