Fix for Windows Vista Photo Screensaver

I am posting this in response to the large number of reports of errors
with Windows Vista Screensaver in "Photo" mode. Most of the errors
seem to be initiated, not with jpegs, but when the program attempts to
run avi videos. I read this fix for an unrelated video play error and
thought I'd try it anyway. It seems to have fixed my Photo Screensaver
problem! Here it is:
Open "Windows Movie Maker", click on "Tools | Options" then
"Compatibility" tab. In the list of codecs, find "Intervideo Audio
Decoder" and clear the check box. For some reason this fixed the
problem on system. Hope it helps someone else.
