Change video source to "aux"

I would like to use the three plugs (red, white and yellow) on my Media
Center PC to plug in my VCR and camcorder, so I can view video from these
sources. When I plug them into my regular TV I have to change the video
source to AUX. Does anyone know how to achieve this with Windows Media
Center? I don't see any setting for it. If this is not possible, could you
tell me why those plugs are there? What is their purpose? Thanks!
