Easy (?) audio capture question
I am trying to capture VHS tapes into my computer's USB port using a
VideoXpress A/D converter and an application called VLC Media Player.

The video is imported with no problem, but no audio comes through.
Fortunately, I have a cold and while coughing, I found that the audio was
somehow being fed into my computer's mic. My thinking is that the mic is
being used as the default audio input device and is superseding the USB audio
input.

If that's the case, how do I change this? I can't quite figure out how to
disable the mic temporarily and there seems to be no device associated with
the USB input.

What am I missing?

Re: Easy (?) audio capture question
I'd look on VLCmediap layer's site and/or ask on a forum there as you need
to select the audio dource from within that app.
