DVD drive

I want to copy out a slide show I created to a DVD - R disc, but when I
inserted the blank disc, it says there is no disc in the drive. What am I
doing wrong?

What programme are you using?
How have you prepared the slideshow for burning to dvd?

I have Vista Home Premium. I created the slide show in Adobe Photoshop and
was able to burn it to a CD, but not to a DVD. I think now that there is a
problem with my DVD Drive. I have been in touch with Dell. The drive will
not recognize any disc I insert. I hope to hear back from them soon and hope
that we can resolve the issue. I am still under warranty, so ...
