Pinnacle studio

Hello,

I am installing vista tomorrow... Will Pinnacle studio work with vista... I
am very worried now. Also I have tons of software for the kids... dont know
where to search for the updates and patchs for them

What version of Pinnacle Studio? The latest version has a free upgrade
that's in beta right now. (Pinnacle's site says release on 3/7).

Go to http://www.pinnaclesys.com and click on the certified for Windows
Vista banner.

That would be 3/07 (March, 2007). There is a Studio 10.8.xxx beta
available, but the download is excruciating.

Krishna, I had tremendous problems with Studio 10.5 on several XP machines.
When I installed it on Vista I was blown away by how fast it ran. I can now
move very large video files around with hardly any problems. Yes it has
crashed a bit (studio has always been inherintley unstable), but not nearly
the nightmare that was on xp. I'm on 10.7 at the moment.

Verrrrrry sloooooooow download. I've got a 5MB cable connection and it was
running about 50Kbs. Horrible.

I guess my expectations must be different. I don't consider 36 minutes for
114 MB to be that out of line.
