How to: Open one instance of MS Photo Gallery

When browsing photos in a folder, each time I click on a jpg, it
creates another instance of Photo Gallery. Any place in setup to just
replace the one I have open with the next one?

I used Windows Picture and Fax viewer under XP and it worked that
way.
