Lost Thumbnails

Hello

I've lost all my original photo files of the birth of my daughter as an
external drive got knocked over. After several months in 'recovery' it turns
out they truely have gone.

A month back I had a glimmer of hope when I found the thumbnails for these
pictures despite there being no root folder. Although small I could see some
pictures.

However, Photo Gallery seems to have updated itself and all the small
thumbnail copies of these photos have gone as well.

Does anyone know how I can retrieve the thumbnails as these are the only
copies I have?

I can't help you, but don't let PhG fool you anymore in the future, just
make your own maps with photo's and use the sophisticated thumbnail feature
of explorer and use e.g. Irfanview instead.
