Vista converts all single music files into a folder.. any way to s

Every time I add music to my computer, whether it is a single file by an
artist or many files by the same artist, all of the single files are
automatically converted into a folder for each artist rather than the single
file. Is there any way to stop this or to change the settings so that I can
have the single files rather than folders for all artists?

Do you have the Rename and/or Rearrange options checked under WMP's
Tools:Options:Library options?
