Burning useable mp3 data disc
I have tried unsucessfully to burn a mp3 data disc in both WMP and Explorer.
The disc burns fine but cannot be read by any mp3 player. If I burn the data
disc in a 3rd party app such as Roxio it works just fine. Any thoughts as to
what Vista is doing to render the disc unreadable by mp3 players?

Re: Burning useable mp3 data disc
There is an option when you go to burn that asks if you want it a Live File
System, or a Mastered. Choose the latter.

Re: Burning useable mp3 data disc
Did that. Looks like it may be due to the UDF version that Vista uses by
default (2.01). Perhaps it is using a higher version than some mp3 players
can support. I am going to play around with the different versions and see if
it makes a difference. Too bad though, it would be a much better experience
if it just worked.
