MP3 playback lag with WMP11

Hi All,

This problem is quite frustrating! Every time I want to skip throughout
an .mp3 file in wmp11, there is this 1-2 second lag. My computer should
have absolutely NO resource problems (I just built it). All other music
formats work out just fine - I'm completely lost! My OS is vista biz x64

I've had the same issue! If anyone knows anything about this, please
help us out. I've had this on two Vista computers now; one is a Dell
laptop and one is a Dell desktop. Both of them have the Realtek HD Audio
integrated card. Some MP3s work fine when I skip forward or behind, but
other MP3s lag anywhere from 1 second to 4 seconds.
