Media Center losing TV Connection

I am using Vista Home Premium and AF9015 BDA Device which is compatible with
Windows Vista.
I have managed to setup the TV tuner with Windows Media Center but Media
Center keeps losing TV access. The only way to get TV access back to Media
Center is to open TotalMedia, the TV software that comes with the tuner
device. I run the program, select TV and close the program again and, lo and
behold, the Live TV is active again in Media Center. Please help me fix this
as it is driving me up the wall in frustration.
Vista is fully up to date complete with cumulative update for Media Center.

It's OK - I've solved the problem on my own.
