Can't burn a CD in WIndows Media Player...

I actually burned it once, i selected like 12 songs and it burned 4 and the
rest just said - 'an error occured' and now i can't even burn one song! i
used a different CD-R disc and i made a burn list but i just can't click the
'start burn' button it just doesn't do anything... >.<
i am so frustrated
please help

How do you get Nero and is it a free download? I also tried Toshiba CD
Creator and it would not work either.....it will only burn a WMA cd and NOT a
CDA cd--even though my computer did burn CDA a month and 1/2 ago.

CAN you help? I am going nuts.................
