this video can't be displayed.

I plug in my camera with the usb cable. Then when i upload the videos and
pictures only the pictures show up and the videos when i click them windows
media player opens and says this video cant be displayed. (it does this with
my sisters camera too). im 14 and not that smart with this stuff so please
speak in a way i can understand if you can.
