WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER CANNOT PUBLISH VIDEO ON THE COMPUTER

I am having troubles trying to publish my video on my computer. It is working
fine, and when I preview it everything looks good but the ending when I try
to go back to some of it, it shows as a black screen and has only the audio.
But I figuired this is nothing big to worry about since it works when I dont
go back to it and just play it to the very end. But then when I want to
publish it on my computer the program shuts down and restarts. I tried
publishing a different video and it works. So I do not know what the problem
is, can someone please help? Should I transfer all my movie files to my other
computer that has XP and the older version of Movie Maker, which made life a
little more easier than this Vista junk?! Thanks!!!! I would appreciate it
because I am in a middle of a DEADLINE here.
