dell AIO 926 printer

i have a dell computer and a dell AIO 926 printer/scanner. about a week ago
the computer started going slow and we had to do a bunch of virus scans on
it. its working better now but now i can't upload picture from my memory
card. if anyone is familiar with the dell AIO printer, there is a little
green light right by the memory card slot that is supposed to be off until
you turn the printer on. when you put the memory card in, the green light
should blink and a window pops up asking you if you want to import your
pictures. but instead of that happening, a window comes up that says no files
are found on this device.
