Showing Menu Bar in Media Player

I run Windows Vista. Can someone help me with a very elementary question for
Media Player? I want to access menu bar of Media Player so that I can
confirm it's release version (I believe it is 11) and change some options
through Tools menu.

Press the Alt key on your keyboard to show the classic menu.

Hi John,

Right click on a empty area on the far right of the bar with Now
Playing, Library, Sync and click to check "Show Classic Menu".
