Roxio 10 - trouble after editing a movie
My laptop has Vista Home Premium, and I don't even know which version of WMP
(I recently wiped my computer clean, so I think it is 9 or 10 - but it could
be 11?).
Anyway, I make classical organ videos that are nice enough after being
touched up in Roxio 10, using the equalizer - in "native audio" is especially
helpful.
But no matter how I save the finished file, Out As sends me to a long
list of options, and I have tried many of them, the files always revert back
to a tinny sound. More or less where they started. (I recorded from one of
two digital cameras)
The preview after "rendering" is nothing like the Roxio Production in
sound (and prob. video) and I can't stand it! It can't go on Youtube this
way, and it is unfit to go to a DVD.
I am very angry, because I just bought this after reading glowing
reviews from several sources on the Internet. I opted for this over Adobe,
and the Windows Media Center was not working. Neither was Canon Zoombrowser.
I needed to have an equalizer.
Well, I have it, but it is a local thing. Once I leave Roxio, I can't
take the quality
of sound with me.
So, please, if anyone has an idea of how one gets Roxio to play true
when opened with WMP (and I am trying even to save using WMV 9 files, the
best on that list, I think) I would appreciate the advice.
I can not face Roxio's return policy: it sounds like a disaster. I
will just not record organ music anymore - at least on a digital camera. (I
think, from hearing other videos on Youtube that even camorders have trouble
with the organ's complex sound)
In any case, it should sound the same in preview, or in the target file
as it did in Roxio itself.
Thanks for reading. Sylvester
