WMP11/Screensaver during song playing.

If i am playing an album or lengthy song in wmp11 the screensaver comes on at
the 10 minute mark,as set in screensaver options.In the options box in wmp11
i have allow screensaver NOT ticked.
To stop the screensaver from always kicking in, do i have to disable
screensaver in personalize...screensaver or is there something im missing
here?

There's some way that WMP's resetting that is disallowed by the power saving
settings, I don't recall the specifics.

This is not extraordinarily helpful information, but you're not crazy. I
believe it's driver-specific or somesuch. =\

SIR.
Many thanks,i just put the power options to balanced and wmp11 started doing
really weird things after 10 minutes,the time my screensaver comes on.The
screensaver did not come on but wmp11 tried to sync with my mobile phone and
then froze.
I put the power option back to performance and now low and behold it works
perfectly, no screensaver cuts in.how weird this vista is?
