Windows DVD Maker -- DVD Menu Playing Time

I am using Windows DVD Maker with Vista. One problem for me is that both
the menu video and menu audio play for only about 15 seconds and then
repeat. I observe this both during the DVD Preview and when playing the
finalized burned DVD in my standalone DVD player. It would be smoother for
my video if the menu would go on quite a bit longer, perhaps 30 seconds or
more. I imagine the designers reasoned that people would leave the menu and
go to 'Play' fairly quickly, but I don't see the value in recycling the
music especially. Anyone know of a way to alter the menu & music playing
time with Windows DVD Maker? Thanks.
