Windows Vista Home Premium and Ultimate will play DVDs out of the box either
in Windows Media Player, or Windows Media Center.
Knowing the error message that is thrown up would be helpful. Without that
my two stabs in the dark would say that a 3rd party MPEG2 decoder is
installed that doesn't work properly, or possibly an outdated video driver.
