Suggested Improvements to MS Photo Gallery
I use Olympus digital cameras and like their software. In my work, I
generate documentary photo contact sheets for inclusion in property
inspection reports. Generally, the photos will print ([3] across) x ([4]
down) on (8.5x11 pages) x (however many pages are needed). The important
thing is that under each photo I include Date Taken, Photo Number, and Photo
Decription. This information is made part of the photo file as a function of
the photo software.
SUGGESTIONS...
1.) Make MS Photo Gallery allow the User the ability to control photo
layout options on the Contact Sheet ([x] across) x ([y] down).
-- Don't be constrained to "standard" photo sizes and layouts.
-- Provide ability to "flip" photos on the Contact Sheet.
2.) Allow ability to notate each photo's descrition.
3.) Show under each photo on the Contact Sheet... Date Taken, Photo Number,
and Photo Decription
I like Photo Gallery, but cannot use for the above reasons. Would really
like to in that the fewer non-MS programs I have, the more stable my systems
is. Using Adobe Photo Elements v5 right now out of necessity. It has its own
set of "kinks," such as requiring referance catalogs in order to organize
and notate photos. PLEASE, make the above changes to MS Photo Gallery so I
can use it for work!!!!! I can't be the only one with this need.
