Tagging vs Description images in Windows Photo Gallery

I've started tagging my photos so that I can find them easily, but I'm
unsure as to what kind of information I should use tags for and what I
should use descriptions for. So far I've tagged information on the pictures
with country name (lived in two countries and travel a bit) and under that
name of the place in that country (I put the place names as a sub-cattegory
of their country). I then put in the description the name of the people and
things like. My question is, does anyone have any recomendations on what
info should go into tags and what should go into the description.

Tagging is very personal to its owner so go with what you consider to
memorable, it will be different for everyone
