movie maker vista

I try to import mpg into mm and it freezez at aprox 20% of movie
the mpg works fine on media player but am un able to convert it to dvd

Which version of Vista do you have? They don't all come with an mpeg decoder
installed.

that version doesn't include the mpeg2 decoder.... which means you need to
