it keeps crashing.. windows moviemaker

windows movie maker and the movie program that came with my video camera
crashes when i import a video.. i want to send my family videos when i'm in
iraq....

Try uninstalling the program that came with your camera. It's probably
written for XP. If it's a digital video camera with an IEEE 1394 (iLink) or
USB connection, you can import straight from tape into Movie Maker. You
don't need any third-party program like the one that came with your camera.
